On May 11, in Thuong Ha commune, Bao Yen District Youth Union coordinated with Thai Nguyen University Branch Youth Union in Lao Cai to launch the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and Green Summer 2024.

The program included the following activities: giving 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged students in Mai Dao village 5; visiting and giving gifts to single-parent households and those in difficult circumstances; inaugurating the youth project "Pesticide collection pit" in Mai Dao village 5; free haircuts for students and residents; launching an environmental sanitation campaign in Mai Dao village 5; promoting support for people to install online public services and pay electronic accounts.

Through the volunteer program, it has promoted coordination between units, created an environment for union members and young people to exchange, learn, practice and mature, contributing to the formation of a generation of young people who live beautifully and have social practice skills.
