With the participation of the entire political system, consensus, and mobilization of people's strength under the motto "The State and the People work together", the movement to build rural roads in Dong Linh commune, Thanh Ba district has been spreading strongly, contributing to creating new roads, new faces, and new vitality in rural areas.

The inter-commune road from Dong Linh to Dai An commune is being urgently constructed to meet the travel and production needs of the people.

Rural infrastructure, especially roads, plays an important role in the socio-economic development of each locality and facility. To build roads and traffic works, it is necessary to synthesize resources, including the participation of people's contributions of labor and money. In a difficult area like Dong Linh, mobilizing people to donate land and contribute funds to renovate, expand and build rural roads is not an easy task. Recognizing and overcoming these difficulties, the Party Committee and local authorities have made efforts to lead and direct with a variety of solutions to mobilize the maximum strength of the people to participate in the construction of rural roads in the commune. The project to upgrade and expand the inter-zone 3 road, Dong Linh commune to zone 8, Dai An commune, 2.3 km long, is being accelerated by the construction unit, expected to be completed and put into use on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, 6 months ahead of schedule. To achieve this encouraging result is the whole process of efforts of the commune and residential area.

Mr. Dang Quoc Quan - Head of residential area No. 3, Dong Linh commune shared: “The inter-commune road section passing through area 3 with a length of 1.7km was implemented on the basis of investment capital from the district and land donated by the people. The commune has directed the residential area to establish working groups, assigning specific tasks to the area's cadres to directly visit each household to propagate the meaning and importance of the project. At the same time, for households with many architectural structures on the donated land, the residential area has also mobilized people to support dismantling and supporting working days to rebuild the structures for the family... Thanks to that, over 50 households in the area have agreed to donate about 2 hectares of land, demolish and dismantle architectural structures with a total value of about 2 billion VND to expand the traffic road".

Along with the inter-commune road, with the support of the people in contributing funds and donating land, in 2024, Dong Linh has also implemented many important rural traffic routes: Completing 2 inter-zone roads, with an implementation cost of over 1 billion VND, starting construction of 2 inter-commune roads, with an implementation cost of nearly 27 billion VND. The commune also mobilized the people to contribute over 1.1 billion VND to concretize alley roads with a length of 1.2 km; participating in nearly 3,900 working days of repairing and maintaining 37 km of inter-village and inter-hamlet roads; dredging nearly 20 km of canals and receiving 200 million VND from children living far away from home to build the commune's traffic roads... The concrete roads invested in construction and upgrading have created favorable conditions for people to travel, study, work, develop the economy, and reduce poverty.

Comrade Nguyen Van Tuan - Chairman of Dong Linh Commune People's Committee said: "Determining that the construction of a rural traffic system is of great significance in creating momentum for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of building an advanced new rural area, the commune has promoted propaganda and mobilization about the purpose, meaning, and practical benefits for people when expanding traffic routes as well as the support mechanisms and plans of the district and commune according to the motto "The State and the People work together. The commune has diversified and enriched the forms of propaganda such as on the loudspeaker system; integrated in conferences and mass activities; going to each household to persuade and mobilize; taking advantage of the support and response of prestigious people in the residential area and the family to mobilize so that households clearly understand that they are the beneficiaries of the program. Once informed and understood, households voluntarily donate land and contribute their efforts to build traffic routes. In particular, the contributed capital is used for the right purpose and effectively, thus creating high consensus among the people.

The joint efforts and consensus of the State and the people have created new roads, new faces, and new vitality in Dong Linh homeland. Rural roads will continue to be extended so that the lives of the people here can develop further.
