On December 22, according to a source from Giao Thong Newspaper, the director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province issued a decision to revoke and cancel the decision to edit the content recorded on the secondary school diploma of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province for Mr. D.MT, an official working at the People's Committee of Gia Rai town.

According to the decision, the reason for the revocation and cancellation is the failure to comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on the management of junior high school, high school, intermediate pedagogical college, college pedagogical diplomas, university degrees and certificates of the national education system.

Specifically, the revoked and annulled decision adjusted Mr. D.MT's year of birth from 1966 to 1964. When the decision took effect, Mr. T had two years of birth in his personal record at the same time.

In particular, Mr. T's personal records and documents show that he was born on March 26, 1964. Meanwhile, his secondary school diploma shows that he was born on November 19, 1966 in Dinh Hoa, Ca Mau, Minh Hai.

Regarding the incident, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province has issued an official dispatch directing the Director of the Department of Education and Training of this province to handle the errors and organize a review of the responsibility of Mr. TTV, Deputy Director of the Department, for lacking a sense of responsibility in his work.

Previously, Mr. TTV was accused of being irresponsible in performing his duties. According to the conclusion of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the accusation was correct.

Mr. TTV was determined to have not fully performed his responsibilities and obligations in the process of processing and verifying Mr. D.MT's qualifications as requested by the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau, the secondary school exam held in January 1985 at the Tac Van Examination Council was confirmed to have taken place.

However, the original records of the examination council no longer exist and the comparison of the sample form, signature, and seal on the diploma only shows a match in form.

The People's Committee of Ca Mau province believes that the above response is inappropriate because there are no original documents to accurately verify the legality of the diploma. This leads to insufficient basis to confirm Mr. T's diploma.

Despite having responded in writing to Bac Lieu, Mr. TTV later signed an official dispatch requesting re-verification of the degree. This action was considered slow and irresponsible in performing public duties.

Therefore, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province requested the Director of the Department of Education and Training to organize a review of Mr. TTV. At the same time, review and handle erroneous documents according to authority and regulations.
