On the morning of October 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation (NDT), chaired a national online conference to celebrate National DTT Day 2024 to review achievements and recognize the results of the Community Digital Technology Team, promote the national digital transformation process, and improve the quality of services to the community, people, and businesses.

Also attending the conference at the Government Headquarters were comrades: Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation; Le Thanh Long, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister; Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Nguyen Manh Hung, Party Central Committee member, Minister of Information and Communications; leaders of ministries, branches, central and local agencies; representatives of a number of enterprises, universities, and community digital technology groups of localities.

Opening the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: Digital transformation is an inevitable trend, an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority for rapid and sustainable development; it is the cause of the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people, contributing to realizing the aspiration of building a strong, prosperous country, with people living in prosperity and happiness, with no one left behind; so that Vietnam can catch up, progress together, and surpass in the era of national development.
According to the Prime Minister, Decision No. 505/QD-TTg, dated April 22, 2022 of the Prime Minister, has chosen October 10 every year as National Digital Transformation Day to accelerate the progress of implementing national digital transformation tasks, effectively implementing the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030; raising awareness of people and the whole society about the role, significance and benefits of digital transformation; promoting the participation of the entire political system, synchronous actions at all levels and the participation of the entire population to ensure the success of digital transformation.

In 2024, the national digital transformation program will have the theme: "Developing the digital economy with 4 pillars of information technology industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital governance, digital data - Important driving force for fast and sustainable socio-economic development". "The program to welcome the National Digital Transformation Day 2024" is the third consecutive year it has been organized, demonstrating the determination of the Party, State, political system, business community and people nationwide to join hands in national digital transformation, developing the digital economy, digital society, and digital citizens. Thereby, continuing to convey the message of the Government's determination to pursue the digital transformation revolution in a profound, comprehensive, substantive and effective manner, in order to promote fast and sustainable socio-economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the people and modernize national governance.
In Thanh Hoa, 27/27 districts, towns and cities have established 4,351 CNSCĐ Teams with 15,995 members (100% of villages, hamlets and residential groups have CNSCĐ Teams)... After more than 2 years of implementation, localities have actively and made efforts to put CNSCĐ Teams into operation, gradually forming a network to deploy and practically and effectively support digital transformation work throughout the province... The activities of the CNSCĐ Teams in the past time have proven that this is truly an "extended arm" of the Digital Transformation Steering Committees at all levels, an important solution to promote the strength of the entire population to participate in the digital transformation process in the locality.

Having the honor to speak at the Government Headquarters bridge, Mr. Vu Dinh Kip, Head of the CNSCĐ Team of Quarter 4, Lam Son Ward, Bim Son Town (Thanh Hoa) shared: Bim Son Town is one of 12 units assigned to complete the district-level digital transformation criteria by 2025; but with the attention and direction of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee, the guidance and support of provincial departments and branches, the determination of the entire political system, the business community and the people, Bim Son Town completed the digital transformation task in October 2024. In that honor, the CNSCĐ Team of Quarter 4 also had many activities contributing to the above results, specifically: The Team actively guided people to use online public services; Use digital services and interact with the government through digital platforms such as the application for receiving feedback and recommendations from people and businesses in Thanh Hoa province and participating in Zalo groups created and deployed by the town, ward and neighborhood.
The CNSCĐ Team of Ward 4 also coordinated with banks and related units to guide people, production and business households to install digital platform applications to shift the form of product consumption from traditional to transactions on e-commerce platforms; currently, 68.34% of the adult population has made cashless payments for essential services.
Instruct people to install and use essential services such as electricity, water, telecommunications, tuition fees...; remote medical consultation application; electronic health book, social insurance... In which, installing personal electronic identification reaches the target of 100% of the adult population; installing personal digital signature reaches 50.3% of the adult population.
Also at the program, Government leaders, leaders of ministries, branches and organizations had dialogues and discussions with businesses and typical members of the CNSCĐ Group.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and commended the achievements of ministries, branches, localities, business communities, and people in digital transformation work.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested to complete the digital legal corridor for all issues related to the economy, civil transactions, production, business... associated with improving the investment and business environment; reforming administrative procedures, cutting compliance costs; exempting and reducing taxes, fees, and charges; promoting decentralization and delegation of power with the spirit of "locality decides, locality does, locality is responsible".
With the efforts, determination, initiative and creativity of the entire political system, business community and people, the Prime Minister believes that the national digital transformation will transform rapidly, sustainably and comprehensively, covering all areas, contributing significantly to promoting socio-economic development, creating a prosperous and happy life for the people, building a strong and prosperous country in the new era, the era of national development.
