On June 28, in Ha Tinh city, the Emulation Cluster of the Lawyers Association of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces held a conference to review the association's work and emulation movement in the first 6 months of 2024.

On behalf of the Emulation Cluster, Mr. Ngo Duc Thuy, Vice President of the Ha Tinh Provincial Bar Association - Deputy Head of the Emulation Cluster, presented the preliminary report on the Association's work and emulation movement in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 of the Emulation Cluster of the Bar Association of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the economic situation, political security, social order and safety in the provinces and cities of the Central Coast and the Central Highlands were all stable and grew well. The Lawyers Associations of the provinces and cities actively contributed to the common achievements of the Party Committee and the People of their localities.

Continue to closely follow the Party's leadership and direction in the spirit of Directive No. 14-CT/TW, dated July 1, 2022 of the Politburo; Directive No. 21/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister; Resolution of the 13th National Congress and policies and plans of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association.

Members of the Bar Associations of provinces and cities all have a firm political stance, good moral qualities, a sense of organization and discipline, are exemplary, uphold a sense of responsibility, overcome many difficulties, improve themselves, and cultivate their professional skills to perform well their assigned tasks.

The Lawyers Associations of provinces and cities in the Cluster have mobilized cadres and members to actively contribute opinions to draft laws and ordinances of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, and legal documents of the People's Councils and People's Committees of localities. As a result, the provincial and municipal Lawyers Associations in the Cluster organized 88 conferences, contributing 1,401 opinions to more than 351 draft laws and legal documents at both the central and local levels. Participated in the appraisal, review and inspection of 1,072 legal documents.

Actively participate in seminars and conferences on law, economics and society organized by the Central and local levels. The work of propaganda, dissemination and legal education has also seen many innovations.

In the first 6 months of the year, units in the Cluster organized 63 training sessions on professional skills, propaganda skills, and legal education for reporters and propagandists at all levels with 9,243 participants; directly organized 250 propaganda sessions with 31,464 participants; coordinated the organization of 1,984 legal propaganda sessions with 135,315 participants; organized the printing and free distribution of 212,867 documents, pocket books, leaflets, brochures, and lawyer newsletters on legal information.

Thereby, legal contents are conveyed to people in a practical and effective manner, contributing positively to crime prevention and control, improving understanding and awareness of law observance of officials and people...

Besides, the members also frankly acknowledged the shortcomings and limitations in the process of performing tasks and proposed directions and solutions in the coming time.

At the Conference, the Emulation Cluster of the Lawyers Association of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces elected the Head and Deputy Head of the Emulation Cluster for 2025. Accordingly, the Head of the Cluster is the Ha Tinh Lawyers Association, the Deputy Head of the Cluster is the Quang Binh Lawyers Association.
