The Athletics competitions took place from April 8-11 at the provincial stadium, with 649 male and female athletes. Regarding the competition contents, primary school level: 60m race for men and women, 500m race for men and women, long jump for men and women, 4x50m relay race for men and women, all-around race for men and women.

Secondary school level: 100m, 200m, 400m run for men and women, 800m run for women, 1,500m run for men, 4x100m relay for men and women, 4x100m mixed relay, long jump for men and women, high jump for men and women.

High school level: 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1,500 m race for men and women, 4x100 m relay race for men and women, 4x100 m mixed relay race, long jump for men and women, high jump for men and women, shot put for women 3 kg, shot put for men 5 kg.
