The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the land use plan for 2024 of Hoc Mon district. Specifically, it approved the allocation targets for land areas of different types in 2024; recovered land areas; areas of land use purpose conversion; and unused land areas.
Hoc Mon district to reclaim nearly 230 hectares of agricultural land in 2024
Accordingly, the land allocation plan in 2024 of Hoc Mon district includes agricultural land of more than 4,860 hectares; non-agricultural land of over 6,055 hectares.
In 2024, Hoc Mon district will reclaim nearly 230 hectares of agricultural land, the most in Tan Thoi Nhi commune with more than 131 hectares of land. Non-agricultural land will be reclaimed less with 5.2 hectares.
Regarding the land use conversion plan, in 2024, Hoc Mon district will convert more than 152 hectares of agricultural land to non-agricultural land; more than 79 hectares will convert the land use structure within agricultural land and 1.56 hectares of non-agricultural land that is not residential land will be converted to residential land.
Accordingly, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the People's Committee of Hoc Mon district are responsible for publicly announcing land use plans in accordance with the provisions of the law on land.
At the same time, carry out land recovery, land allocation, land lease, and land use purpose conversion in accordance with approved land use plans; organize regular inspections of land use plan implementation.
