On the afternoon of October 11, in Hanoi, Ho Hoai Anh received attention when he appeared at a press conference to introduce the live show Revival , of which he is the General Director. This is the first time he has participated in a public event since July 2022.

He and musician Tu Dua (Mars Anh Tu) share the same production company. Over the past 2 years, Ho Hoai Anh has appeared in some private events of friends and has been behind some music programs of Mars Anh Tu and Hoang Thuy Linh but has not revealed himself.

At the press conference, the male musician shared: “I know for sure many of you will wonder why I don’t appear. Honestly, during this time, I want to just stand behind and be quiet no matter what I do.”

Talking about the reason for choosing to hold the Revival music night in Lao Cai, musician Ho Hoai Anh said that in the first days when the media reported on the flood and landslide situation, he and musician Pham Viet Tuan went to Lao Cai.

“When we arrived in Lao Cai, we witnessed the tragic scene at Bao Yen Hospital, where every patient had lost their home and loved ones. At that time, our only thought was how to help as many people as possible.

We used our own money, texted and mobilized kind-hearted friends to send money and met each person who lost their home or loved one to hand it to them," he said.

According to Ho Hoai Anh, he and his friends went to Bac Ha, Si Ma Cai, Bat Xat to meet people in difficult circumstances with the support of local authorities.

Talking about Luu Huong Giang's appearance in the Revival music night, Ho Hoai Anh said that he proactively invited the female singer. She will sing the song "La con gai phai xinh" . In addition, he, Luu Huong Giang and her daughter will directly visit the school in Lang Nu, Lao Cai.

“I don’t have to convince her because when I know there is such a meaningful program, any singer will participate if they can arrange their work. I want my daughter to go with me so that she can understand the hardships of the people here. From there, she will learn to live more lovingly and forgivingly,” the male musician confided.

Explaining further about the theme of Revival, the organizers said that overcoming the consequences of the storm is also the desire of people across the country.

“The organizers chose this theme because all losses, natural disasters, storms and floods will pass. The living still have to persevere, still have to live and they really need sharing and joining hands to rebuild their houses and create a new life.

We went and met many people who lost their homes and property. Everything they had saved up after years of hard work, houses, fields, chickens, pigs… was gone. Despite support, they were still very poor.

The program organizers hope to share more with households who are still in need of help to build their houses through the Lao Cai Provincial Fatherland Front. Our goal is to build as many houses as possible, depending on the donations from benefactors,” said the organizers.

The Revival music night was held on the evening of October 15 at Kim Tan Square, Lao Cai province with the hope of raising charity funds to support the people here who suffered damage after Typhoon Yagi, attracting an estimated 10,000 spectators.

Revival brings songs about the homeland, about the difficulties we have overcome as well as looking forward to a better future. The music night also has pop songs to soothe the pain, helping our people have more positive energy.
