With 2,853.43 billion VND of funding allocated for site clearance for the North-South Expressway project, Ha Tinh has so far disbursed 2,010.15 billion VND, reaching 71%.

The North-South Expressway section through Tan Lam Huong commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh is under construction.

To implement the construction of the North-South Eastern Expressway project in the 2021-2025 period, 102.38 km long and 3 expressway connecting routes, 12.18 km long, the Ministry of Transport has allocated Ha Tinh a budget of VND 2,853.43 billion to carry out site clearance work.

According to calculations, Ha Tinh needs to hand over 1,000 hectares of land of all kinds with more than 8,500 affected households, including 404 resettled households; 746 households with partially affected assets, structures, and trees; build 26 resettlement areas, 4 cemeteries; relocate high-voltage, medium-voltage, low-voltage power lines and other works and technical infrastructure.

Units and organizations support people in Ky Van commune, Ky Anh district to move their houses and belongings to the resettlement site of the North-South expressway project.

By mobilizing the entire political system to participate in the implementation of site clearance work, closely coordinating with central ministries, branches, investors and the consensus of the people, up to now, Ha Tinh has completed the inventory; implemented the pricing, approved the compensation plan reaching 98.85% and handed over the site reaching 97.81%. Accordingly, the disbursement of site clearance capital has reached 2,010.15/2,853.43 billion VND, reaching 71%.

Specifically, the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section: Duc Tho district reached 99.09%, Can Loc district reached 84.97%, Ha Tinh city reached 92.95%, Thach Ha district reached 60.49%; Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section: Thach Ha district reached 82.39%, Cam Xuyen district reached 69.99%, Ky Anh district reached 55.39%; Vung Ang - Bung section: Ky Anh district reached 64.64%, Ky Anh town reached 34.83%.

People have started building houses in the resettlement area of ​​the North-South expressway project in Kim Song Truong commune, Can Loc district.

All 26 resettlement areas and 4 cemeteries have been constructed, of which 8 areas have reached 100% completion, the remaining areas have reached 15 - 88% completion.

At this time, localities in Ha Tinh are still focusing on implementing site clearance work with tasks such as completing the construction of resettlement areas; paying site clearance money to households subject to resettlement, households whose assets, structures, and trees are partially affected; relocating power line infrastructure and technical works; and removing obstacles in exploiting mineral mines for construction materials.
