Hanoi FC kicks off 2025/26 season and opens official store

The departure ceremony took place in a bustling atmosphere with the presence of many high-ranking guests such as Mr. General Khiev Sameth - President of the Southeast Asian Football Federation; Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet - Director of the Vietnam Sports Department.

This is an important first step, both demonstrating the determination to conquer the title and strengthening the bond with the capital's fan community.

The start of a special season

Speaking at the ceremony, Club President Do Vinh Quang shared that over the past 20 years, Hanoi FC has written a proud story with fans through championships, memorable matches and an enduring love for football in the capital. In the new season, the club not only aims for the best results but is also determined to leave a deep impression in the hearts of fans.

This is a special season – a season of “memories and aspirations” – when Hanoi FC looks back on nearly two decades of journey, while facing the challenge of competing in V.League.

In preparation, the team has added quality new players such as attacking midfielder Hendrio, central defender Adriel da Silva, defensive midfielder Willian Maranhao. They will play alongside experienced pillars including Van Quyet, Hung Dung, Duy Manh, Thanh Chung, Tuan Hai, Hai Long, Xuan Manh...

Coach Makoto Teguramori said the team worked hard during the pre-season.

“During the preparation period, the whole team has worked hard, each player has shown determination and professionalism. We understand that although football always has challenges, the spirit of solidarity, perseverance and desire to win will be the key for Hanoi Football Club to achieve the best results in the upcoming season,” said coach Makoto Teguramori.

Since its establishment in 2006, Hanoi FC has become one of the most successful clubs in Vietnam: 6 V-League championships, 3 National Cups, 5 National Super Cups and many appearances in the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup.

The team is also the cradle of many national players such as Van Quyet, Duy Manh, Hung Dung, Thanh Chung, Hai Long..., contributing to the successes of Vietnamese football such as runner-up of U23 Asia 2018, gold medal at SEA Games 31 and 33, and champion of AFF Cup.

Official Store – A Bridge to Fans

Along with the departure ceremony, Hanoi FC officially opened Hanoi FC Store - a genuine souvenir distribution store at Stand A, Hang Day Stadium. This is a project that has been cherished for a long time, aiming to bring a shopping space and a unique experience to fans.

Here, fans can find official jerseys, travel jerseys, souvenirs, accessories and commemorative publications associated with the club's image. Not only a point of sale, Hanoi FC Store is also oriented to become a place to organize exchange activities, autograph signing, launch new shirt models, creating opportunities for direct connection between players and fans.

The opening of the store is part of the brand development strategy, helping Hanoi FC not only stop at achievements on the field but also build the image of a modern, professional and close-to-the-community club. Each product here is not simply a souvenir, but also a memory, symbol and pride of football lovers in the capital.

In the 2025/26 season, Hanoi FC also launched 3 new jerseys, carrying the consistent message of “Past – Present – Future”. The traditional purple home jersey, which has been in use since 2016, combines stylized floral motifs and chains created from the club’s initials, symbolizing the strength of the past 20 years. The yellow away jersey, with the logo from the 2009 season, recalls the team’s historical journey and tradition, reminding the next generation to cherish the heritage.

The third shirt is white, with a minimalist design and a stylized Khue Van Cac logo, expressing dynamism and a spirit of innovation to keep up with world football trends.

The launch and store opening event not only marks the start of the new season but also opens a more comprehensive development phase for Hanoi FC: continuing to conquer the pinnacle of expertise, strengthening relationships with fans and shaping the pioneering position of a professional football club in Vietnam.
