To serve the effective and successful celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the Hanoi People's Committee has just requested the Department of Culture and Sports to direct the Hanoi Museum to arrange human resources and the entire parking lot in the campus to gather vehicles to pick up and drop off delegates from communes and wards.
Hanoi assigned the Thang Long Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center to arrange the entire area of Thang Long Imperial Citadel, including Cot Co Stadium and No. 28 Dien Bien Phu, as a gathering place for delegates' vehicles in the A grandstand area.
The Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace was assigned to arrange the entire parking lot in the campus to gather vehicles of delegates to stand A.
Hanoi assigned Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School to arrange human resources and the entire parking lot on campus to serve people attending the Anniversary Ceremony.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are also assigned to review agency headquarters and public areas ( educational facilities, office headquarters, etc.) as places to gather people's vehicles, and at the same time arrange forces to coordinate, guide, ensure security and order, traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting at parking lots.
Ms. Dang Huong Giang, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism, said that the city has a policy of free bus tickets and metro train tickets for tourists during the 4-day holiday of September 2 (expected from August 30 to September 2).

Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. (Hanoi Metro) has just announced the adjustment of metro train schedules on Line 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Line 3 Nhon - Cau Giay section to meet the increased travel demand of people and tourists on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.
August 21, 24, 27 and 29: Trains run from 5:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (2 hours longer than usual), 6-10 minutes apart/trip, during extended hours, 10 minutes apart applies.
August 30: Trains operate from 5am to 10pm, every 6 minutes between 5am and 8am; every 10 minutes during other times.
September 1: Trains operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight (2 hours longer than usual), with 10-minute intervals throughout the day.
National Day September 2: Trains operate continuously from 0:00 to 22:00, every 6 minutes during peak hours (4:30-7:30 and 11:00-14:30; other times every 10 minutes.
Schedule for preliminary and final rehearsals of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march:
- Preliminary review: 8:00 p.m., August 27.
- General rehearsal: 6:30 a.m. August 30.
- Official ceremony: 6:30 a.m. September 2.
Specific program of the September 2nd Celebration, Parade, and March:
- 6:30: Traditional torch procession.
- 6:45: Flag salute ceremony.
- 6:50: Statement of reasons, introduction of delegates.
- 7:05: Speeches of Party and State leaders.
- From 7:45: Parade program.
- 9:45 to 10:00: The art performance ends.
Scale: National level, with the participation of about 30,000 people (not including parade and marching forces) and armed forces and the masses. There is participation of parade forces from a number of guest countries.
The stage area at Ba Dinh Square is reserved for invited delegates. People can freely watch the parade along the streets.
This is a major event. To watch it live, people should choose a location on Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma streets... and arrive early (before 6am).
People can watch through 270 LED screens installed on many streets in Hanoi and strictly follow security regulations and instructions from authorities.
