Total tourism revenue in the 5 days from September 1 to September 4 in the province reached nearly 57.4 billion VND. The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached 55-60%. The most attractive tourist destinations are Tam Chuc National Tourist Area, Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda, Lanh Giang Temple, etc.

A communications officer of Tam Chuc Tourism Service Company said that the number of visitors to the tourist area during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year has decreased compared to last year. On average, the tourist area welcomes 4,000 to 5,000 visitors per day. There are many reasons for the decrease in the number of visitors to tourist areas such as Tam Chuc this year, including the difficulty in earning income of local people; domestic tourists have just finished their summer vacation, so most of them choose to return home to reunite with their families during this time.

At Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda, the number of tourists visiting on National Day reached 3 to 4 thousand people/day. The reason why the number of visitors to the pagoda is high this time is because this is the September 2nd holiday, close to Vu Lan festival.
