According to the joint management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (common type on the market) increased by 470 VND, to 23,510 VND; E5 RON 92 increased by 460 VND, to 22,360 VND per liter.

At the same time, kerosene, diesel and fuel oil also increased to new prices, ranging from 16,610-22,750 VND per liter or kilogram depending on the type.

In today's operating session, the joint ministries continue to not allocate to the Price Stabilization Fund and stop spending from this fund.

Since the beginning of the year, domestic fuel prices have been adjusted 30 times, of which 17 times increased, 9 times decreased and 4 times remained unchanged.

According to the joint ministries, the world oil market has increased in the past 10 days due to the risk that the Israel-Hamas conflict could spread, Iran - an OPEC member - called for an oil embargo on Israel because of the conflict in Gaza and US crude oil and fuel inventories decreased due to high heating demand.

The average price of RON 92 gasoline (the type used to blend E5 RON 92) is 94.02 USD per barrel, up nearly 2.2%; RON 95 is 98.95 USD per barrel, 2% more expensive. Similarly, oil products also increased by 0.03-1.35% compared to 10 days ago, diesel and kerosene are 114.49 and 114.84 USD per barrel, respectively.
