Gia Lai has a price difference between listed and actual sales at construction material mines.

(GLO)- In order to ensure publicity and transparency, and avoid the situation of announcing construction material prices that are not close to reality, the Gia Lai Department of Construction has inspected 16 construction material mines (8 construction sand mines and 8 construction stone mines in Chu Se, Phu Thien, Ia Pa, Duc Co, Dak Doa, Dak Po, and Kbang districts).

The inspection showed that the price listing of construction materials is consistent with the standards, specifications, types, and quality of materials, and is basically consistent with the monthly and quarterly announcement of construction material prices issued by the Department of Construction. The mines strictly carry out the loading of goods on vehicles in accordance with regulations, and cover them with tarpaulins when transporting materials out of the mines.

However, through inspection, there are still some mines that do not list prices (Thuan Thanh stone mine in Chu Se district, Hoang Chi sand mine in Phu Thien district, Dong Thanh Tay Nguyen sand mine in Phu Thien district). Some mines have weighing stations located in unreasonable locations, vehicles entering and exiting to transport materials do not pass through the weighing stations (Thuan Thanh stone mine in Chu Se, Duc Hoang stone mine in Chu Se, Thien Phu stone mine in Chu Se, Hoang Chi sand mine in Phu Thien, Hung Thinh sand mine in Phu Thien, Dong Thanh Tay Nguyen sand mine in Phu Thien, Nhi Hoang Hung sand mine in Ia Pa district).

At the same time, through a survey of information from some construction contractors, it was found that the price of sand purchased at the mine was higher than the listed price. For example, Hoang Chi sand mine (Phu Thien district) quoted the inspection team 245,000 VND/ m3 but the actual price at the mine was 300,000 VND/ m3 ; Dong Thanh Tay Nguyen sand mine (Phu Thien district) quoted the inspection team 300,000 VND/ m3 ,... showing that this mine showed signs of pushing up prices, causing fluctuations compared to the price announced by the Department of Construction. Some sand mines did not issue value-added invoices when selling sand, causing tax losses for the State and failing to control the actual annual sand mining reserves at the mines.
