At Monterey Car Week 2025, Bugatti design director Frank Heyl said the company is focusing on producing 250 Tourbillons, while also completing the final versions of the Bolide, all of which have been sold. “With this financial stability, Bugatti can plan its long-term strategy in a solid way,” he said.

Unlike mainstream brands or even Mercedes and BMW, which have to compete to retain customers, Bugatti is almost in a “different universe” where customers are willing to wait many years to own it. This is similar to buying a Rolex Daytona or other luxury watches, where customers not only have to wait but also need to “choose”.
Bugatti is currently building a new factory in France, but on an area of less than 0.5 hectares. The goal of this factory is only to optimize production, not to increase output significantly.

In June 2024, Bugatti marked a new turning point by introducing the Tourbillon hypercar. This model is equipped with a hybrid powertrain combining an 8.3L naturally aspirated V16 engine (replacing the 8.0L W16 engine) with an electric motor. At the same time, the company also announced a "coachbuild" program called Solitaire, for one-off projects, allowing the continued use of the legendary W16 engine.
