Ghostrunner has sold over 2.5 million copies thanks to the appeal of Ghostrunner 2

According to Gaming Bolt , 505 Games' Ghostrunner 2 is coming out next month, and so far the game has revealed some gameplay details and offers some seriously beautiful graphics.

Amidst the excitement of the sequel, the publisher has surprisingly announced a new sales milestone for the first Ghostrunner game. Accordingly, the original game has sold more than 2.5 million copies since its release in October 2020. In a new post on the Steam Community, the developers of One More Level said that they originally planned to announce the milestone when they hit 2 million sales. However, perhaps due to the community's excitement for the sequel, the original's sales have risen to over 2.5 million. Although the development team expected to hit the 3 million mark soon, they were surprised to receive a celebratory poster from 505 Games for the achievement.

As for Ghostrunner 2 , the game will be released on October 26 for platforms like Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (for players who pre-ordered, they will have 48 hours of early access).

The sequel will be much larger in scale than the first game, with protagonist Jack gaining the ability to control a high-speed bike, a rather interesting detail that fits Ghostrunner 's fast-paced gameplay style.
