The blasting construction site is the final intersection of the Lien Chieu port floating coastal road project with the southern approach road to Hai Van tunnel (Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Lien Chieu district).
According to the plan, the blasting time is from 13:15 to 13:45 on September 25. During this time, all traffic through the blasting location and related residential roads will be temporarily stopped.
The plan also clearly states that the traffic police, construction units and the Hai Van Tunnel Traffic Control Center will coordinate to arrange 3 checkpoints to regulate and temporarily stop traffic, ensuring traffic safety during the blasting period.
Checkpoint No. 1 is at the northern entrance of Hai Van Tunnel. Checkpoint No. 2 is located 30m north of Ta Quang Buu roundabout and Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan road, and Checkpoint No. 3 is at the northern end of Bridge No. 4 of Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan road.
On residential roads, there will be 5 guard posts, each with 1 person using a walkie-talkie and handheld speaker to communicate between the posts and the command center.
It is known that the construction process of the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port is expected to have a total of 40 blasting and rock breaking times.
The investment project to build the coastal road connecting Lien Chieu port has a total investment of 1,203 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang.
The road is nearly 3km long, 30m wide, and has 6 lanes. The project started in September 2023 and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2025.
