This year, international tourists come from many countries and the majority are from the UK, US, France, Korea, Japan, Germany, etc. Domestic tourists mainly travel by car, plane, train and mainly in family groups and groups of friends. Total revenue from tourists during the holiday is estimated at 365.7 billion VND, an increase of 29.45% compared to the Hung Kings' death anniversary and April 30 - May 1 holidays in 2023.

The weather during the holidays is hot and sunny, with high temperatures, so eco-tourism and natural attractions become ideal, attracting a large number of tourists, such as: Phong Nha Cave, Thien Duong Cave, Nuoc Mooc Stream, Chay River - Dark Cave, Ozo Park...

Tourist attractions in Dong Hoi City, such as: walking street and night street in Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area (Regal Legend), Bao Ninh beach, Nhat Le - Quang Phu beach ... have a large number of tourists and residents. In particular, the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap from April 27 to April 30 welcomed nearly 33,000 visitors.

In addition, many cultural and sports activities have been organized in many localities and tourist attractions in the province, attracting people and tourists to participate such as: activities in Dong Hoi Cultural Tourism Week; Ethnic Minority Sports Festival, the 7th Traditional Boat Racing Festival and the 2024 Son River Grass Carp Competition; Traditional Boat Racing Festival of Tuyen Hoa district...

Accommodation facilities of 3 stars or equivalent or above or homestays, farmstays, with beautiful, cool landscapes, close to nature in Phong Nha - Ke Bang area and Dong Hoi city have room occupancy rates of 95% or above; the average room occupancy rate of the whole province is about 85% - 90%.

Deputy Director of Quang Binh Department of Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Ha said that tourism activities in the province are basically organized to ensure safety, security and order, meeting the diverse needs of tourists.

However, due to the large number of tourists gathering at some tourist attractions in Phong Nha – Ke Bang area and beaches, there was traffic congestion at some times on the Ho Chi Minh Highway West Branch and Truong Phap Street during April 28 – April 30. In addition, some tourist service providers were overloaded, leading to service quality not meeting the wishes and expectations of tourists.
