Mr. Joseph Vikupic emphasized: "During the time the Ha Tinh delegation visited Trnava in October 2023, we had the opportunity to introduce the potentials and advantages of the region. Accordingly, Trnava is a region with strengths in creative technology, science and technology; automobile manufacturing industry; wine production... Through this working trip, we witnessed the development of investment projects and the general development of the province as well as better understood the culture of Ha Tinh. These are also the foundations for Trnava and Ha Tinh to cooperate and develop together in the coming time".

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Vietnam and the Slovak Republic have a good traditional relationship. In recent years, the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and the Slovak Republic as well as localities of the two countries have continued to be consolidated, developed well and extensively. Recently, a working delegation from Ha Tinh province had a successful visit and work in the Trnava region. The delegation worked, exchanged, met and received sincere feelings and a thoughtful reception from the Trnava region. The two sides also discussed and agreed on the contents of the signed cooperation agreement to strengthen the relationship between Ha Tinh and Trnava, contributing to the socio-economic development of both sides as well as further fostering the traditional cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Slovak Republic.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also informed about the potentials, advantages and some outstanding features of the province in socio-economic development, investment attraction, planning implementation...

Accordingly, Ha Tinh is the central region of the North Central region of Vietnam, with advantages in developing industry, tourism, seaport services, logistics, renewable energy with two national key economic zones: Vung Ang Economic Zone and Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone.

In 2023, the province's economic growth is estimated to reach over 8%, ranking first in the North Central region and 15th in the country. Currently, Ha Tinh has 6 cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO; 2 celebrities honored by UNESCO; education and training are among the top in the country.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that Trnava region will continue to support Ha Tinh province in promoting the province's potentials and advantages, the cultural traditions of the homeland and the people of Ha Tinh to international partners so that more and more Trnava enterprises will come to invest in the province. At the same time, continue to care for, support and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese people in general and Ha Tinh people in particular in Trnava to study, work and live in the area, and have many opportunities to contribute to the development of Vietnam and Slovakia.
