Father Phuong once said: When I saw many sick people but because of difficult family circumstances, the long distance could not go to the hospital for treatment. So I came up with the idea of ​​buying a car to transport them for free; to share some of the difficulties and hardships with them. I discussed this idea with many people in the parish and they immediately agreed. So we decided to buy a car, starting in 2019.

And then, there were so many difficult circumstances, so many unfortunate fates, who received sharing and love from that ambulance, from the volunteer group of 11 people, initiated by Priest Nguyen Xuan Phuong.

Confiding with us, Father Xuan Phuong shared that buying a car is not too difficult, but having a long-term companion is really not easy. And to kindle the flame of love in the humanitarian journey, Father Phuong himself was the driver for the first journey. It was a free trip to take people for medical examination and treatment from Vinh city to the poor district of Ky Son, a distance of more than 300km.

And the loving and meaningful journey of Father Xuan Phuong continues with the parishioners of Dong Lam Parish, Hung Son Commune (Anh Son District, Nghe An). August 2023 became a memorable milestone for the parishioners here, when they welcomed Father Nguyen Xuan Phuong to manage the parish. And Father Xuan Phuong's luggage also included the ambulance that he used to use in Lam Xuyen Parish, Nam Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh District), now present in Anh Son to accompany the poor and less fortunate.
