As the most modern surface combat ship unit of the Navy; over the past 5 years, the Emulation movement to win of Brigade 162, Naval Region 4 has been vibrant and widespread, creating motivation and enthusiasm for each officer and soldier to successfully complete their tasks. Specifically, the Brigade has closely linked with the patriotic emulation movement, campaigns, improving the overall quality and combat strength of the Brigade. In all fields and aspects of work, each officer and soldier has demonstrated the spirit of emulation to win to successfully complete all assigned tasks; determined to contribute the most to building a strong and comprehensive unit, "Exemplary model", the Party Committee has excellently completed its tasks.

Speaking at the Congress, Colonel Nguyen Van Bach, Commander of Naval Region 4 acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results of the Emulation Movement for Victory of Brigade 162 in the period of 2019-2024. At the same time, he requested Party Committees and commanders at all levels in the entire Brigade to continue to closely link the Emulation Movement for Victory with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and movements and campaigns at all levels and sectors, especially the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers".

In the Emulation Movement for Victory in the period of 2019-2024, Brigade 162 was continuously awarded the flags of "Leading Unit in the Emulation Movement for Victory" and "Excellent Training Unit" by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Navy. In particular, in 2021, it was honored to receive the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal from the President; Squadron 412 was awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal; Squadron 015-Tran Hung Dao and 016-Quang Trung won the Silver Medal at the 21st Army Games in the Russian Federation; 03 individuals were honored as Outstanding Young Faces, Promising Young Faces of the entire army and the entire country, and many collectives and individuals were awarded the "Victory Unit" and Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level.
