"The initial cause was determined to be a technical printing error. The high-speed printer printed hundreds of thousands of exam papers, so there must have been an error somewhere due to the equipment. However, the process of printing and copying exam papers was carried out very strictly at all stages," the Director of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training affirmed.

Mr. Khoa added that the math test has 24 test codes, 50 questions, printed on A3 paper with 4 sides and 5 pages. At the time of the exam, the invigilator discovered the blurred test and reported it to the head of the test site for handling and the heads of the test sites used the backup test set to send to the candidates.

"If the change of the exam paper is late for the candidates, the head of the exam site will calculate the compensation time for the candidates," said Mr. Khoa.

Regarding the fact that some exam sites still have to work on blurred exam papers, the Director of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training said that the exam sites could not handle the problem in time and have reported this incident.

"This is an unexpected technical problem. We have reported it to the National Examination Steering Committee and received instructions to review the examination sites and candidates affected by the blurred questions to find a solution. Accordingly, students will receive the maximum score for the blurred questions to ensure their rights," Mr. Khoa informed.

According to Mr. Pham Dang Khoa, the test has a maximum of 3 errors, each question is worth 0.2 points, if any candidate makes all errors, they will be given 0.6 points.

"Only a few dozen students were affected in the math exam, so their rights will be guaranteed, parents can rest assured," said the head of the Dak Lak education sector.

Regarding the information that some exam codes had errors, and that after the exam was completed and the candidates submitted their exam papers, they were not allowed to take them out of the exam site. Mr. Khoa said that if it was true as reported, the invigilators did not follow the exam regulations and the Department would investigate and consider handling the responsibility.

This year's high school graduation exam in Dak Lak has nearly 21,000 candidates registered to take the exam with 33 official exam locations in districts, towns, and cities and 37 backup exam locations.
