According to forecasts, during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day this year, the number of people and vehicles participating in traffic on some routes connecting the Hung Kings' Temple Historical Relic Site, Viet Tri City will increase dramatically, posing a potential risk of traffic safety loss. Based on the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025, the Provincial Police have completed the construction of a traffic diversion plan to prevent traffic congestion; at the same time, mobilized officers and soldiers to perform the task of ensuring traffic safety during the festival days.

Accordingly, the Provincial Police directed the forces to well implement the traffic diversion plans from a distance for vehicles going to the Festival from Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway; from Vinh Phuc along National Highway 2 to Hung Temple; from Vinh Phuc via Vinh Phu Bridge; from Hanoi via Van Lang Bridge; from Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai along National Highway 2; from Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai provinces, Doan Hung, Thanh Ba districts along Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway; from Hanoi, Son La, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and the districts: Tam Nong, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa, Yen Lap, Tan Son along National Highways 32, 32C; for taxis taking passengers to the Hung Temple area. The traffic diversion plan has also been deployed early by the traffic police force for vehicles not going to the Festival; vehicles carrying goods in and out of Thuy Van Industrial Park, Viet Tri City.

The provincial traffic police force also anticipates a number of traffic congestion situations and plans to clear and divert traffic; assigns forces to guide traffic at checkpoints in Viet Tri, Hung Temple area and neighboring areas; coordinates to continuously update information on traffic situations in the province, and informs vehicles to determine appropriate directions. The time to implement traffic diversion is from March 29, 2025 to April 7, 2025 (ie from March 1 to the 10th day of the third lunar month).

To ensure traffic safety during the Hung Kings' death anniversary, the Traffic Police Department will deploy forces, vehicles, and technical equipment to organize traffic flow, command, and control traffic, prevent congestion and traffic accidents on roads in the Hung Temple area, and ensure safe and smooth traffic. Resolutely handle violations according to the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government such as: Speeding, not wearing a helmet, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving under the influence of alcohol, etc.

According to Major Le Xuan Tu - Team Leader of the Staff, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police, up to now, the work of ensuring traffic safety for the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025 has been carefully prepared by the Traffic Police Department, ready for a safe Festival season. At the same time, officers and soldiers at each checkpoint and each assigned position are required to uphold their sense of responsibility, excellently complete assigned tasks, create prestige and a good image of the Provincial Police force in general, and the Traffic Police in particular, for compatriots nationwide, overseas Vietnamese and tourists visiting and offering incense to commemorate the Hung Kings.

Along with the traffic diversion plan of the Provincial Police, the Department of Construction assigned forces to serve the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025. Accordingly, relevant functional departments will be responsible for directing, urging, and guiding road management units, investors, and contractors of road works to implement measures to ensure traffic safety; strengthen the protection of road safety corridors, prevent acts of encroachment on road corridors; install additional traffic signs on the routes to Hung Temple for people and tourists to travel conveniently, contributing with the Provincial Police force to absolutely ensure traffic safety on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2025.
