On the afternoon of August 21, the fanpage of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention posted an urgent notice related to rapper Negav. “Regarding a document circulating on the internet mentioning Mr. Dang Thanh An (NEGAV), the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention is inviting PN LEGAL LLC and related individuals to work with the Law Firm to verify and clarify the contents mentioned in the document,” the official Facebook page reported.
This post quickly attracted the attention of the online community, receiving 12,000 interactions and 1,600 comments after just 30 minutes.

The incident originated from the Facebook account of Vo Hieu Phuc. This person shared a document from “PN LEGAL Law Firm”, warning against spreading false information about Mr. Dang Thanh An (stage name Negav).
The document states, “To protect his legitimate rights, Mr. Dang Thanh An has worked with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of the Ministry of Public Security (A05) on the allegations of some individuals and organizations mentioned above. Department A05 has concluded and instructed Mr. An to continue his artistic activities and contribute to society. At the same time, A05 has collected and processed a number of accounts that posted articles about Mr. An with inappropriate content, or intentionally took advantage of the above incident for personal gain according to regulations.”
Recently, the male rapper has been continuously involved in scandals. The Diana brand announced rapper Negav as a special guest for a new promotional campaign taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, alongside names like Bui Cong Nam, Lam Bao Ngoc... As soon as the name Negav was announced, the audience immediately reacted strongly, criticizing this brand.
In response to the public outcry, the brand quickly removed information related to Negav from its fanpage. On the night of August 17, Diana also apologized to the audience via her official fanpage.
