In the letter, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang reviewed the outstanding achievements of the Vietnam Trade Union in 2024. This is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, and at the same time, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union. In particular, the Trade Union Law (amended) was also passed by the National Assembly, creating a solid legal basis for trade union activities in the coming time. Trade unions at all levels across the country have completed 10 major groups of targets, actively contributing to the implementation of the country's socio-economic goals.

Entering 2025, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has identified the theme of action as "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party" with 12 key groups of tasks. In particular, the priority contents include implementing the Trade Union Law (amended), innovating the organization of the trade union apparatus towards streamlining and efficiency, promoting emulation movements in production, saving, improving productivity, in conjunction with welcoming the 14th National Party Congress and major events of the country.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang emphasized that the important task of all levels of the Trade Union is to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, supervise the implementation of policies related to salaries and Tet bonuses, and organize activities to care for workers' lives, ensuring the motto "All union members and workers have Tet".

The President of the General Confederation of Labor also requested that cadres, union members, and workers nationwide unite, uphold the spirit of responsibility, overcome difficulties, compete in labor production, contribute to building a modern and strong working class, and bring the Trade Union organization firmly into the new stage of development. The leaders of the Trade Union organization also wished all cadres, union members, workers, and their families a healthy, happy, and successful New Year 2025.
