At the ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union (July 2, 1994 - July 2, 2024) and honor exemplary trade union officials on the morning of July 1, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union Ngo Duy Hieu said that over the past 30 years, trade unions at all levels have done a good job of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

In addition, encourage and motivate union members to complete their professional tasks well, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, making important contributions to the overall results of each agency, unit and the achievements of the country in the renovation period.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu commented that after three decades of growth with the Vietnam Trade Union, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union is proud to be a place with many innovations, initiating many movements, campaigns, good models, effective methods, and proposing awards with wide influence.

Also speaking at the event, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang requested the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union to continue to do a good job of propagating, mobilizing, and educating cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers about policies, public ethics, sense of responsibility, aspiration to rise up, spirit of innovation, and awareness of law compliance.

The form and method of propaganda need to be constantly innovated, ensuring attractiveness, persuasion, and attracting the participation of a large number of union members and workers. Promote "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style".

Faced with new requirements and tasks, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union at all levels continues to propose scientific solutions, proactively and effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.

Besides, doing a good job of taking care of material and spiritual life, creating a good working environment for each cadre, civil servant, public employee and worker to promote their talent, intelligence, enthusiasm, and contribute to the cause of national development.

Mr. Khang suggested continuing to promote patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, promptly commending and rewarding advanced models, and spreading them widely throughout the system.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union honored 100 outstanding union officials for the 2018-2023 period.
