Vietnam Education Publishing House has just announced new textbook prices for grades 4, 8 and 11.

A new set of textbooks costs 250,000 to 390,000 VND, 2-3 times higher than the set currently in use.

The Education Publishing House explains the increase in book prices, partly because the number of books in each set is greater, the design has more color images, the presentation and illustrations are more vivid, and the book size is also larger.

Textbooks for grades 4, 8 and 11 according to the 2018 General Education Program are expected to be released from June 15, 2023.
