On December 28, Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the wanted group of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department of Investigation had just arrested Kim Jeehoon (35 years old, Korean nationality), a criminal wanted internationally for organizing gambling.
Kim Jeehoon was identified as a website administrator in an international online gambling ring.
I am a wanted Korean criminal arrested by Thu Duc City Police in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Police.
According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, from December 12, 2020 to the end of May 2023, this line organized gambling for players and received deposits from players on an unlicensed online gambling website.
Through investigation, Thu Duc City Police coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to arrest Kim Jeehoon while he was shopping at a convenience store in Palm Heights apartment complex (An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City).
On the evening of December 28, speaking with Thanh Nien, a source confirmed that Thu Duc City Police in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Police had completed the procedures and escorted wanted criminal Kim Jeehoon to Tan Son Nhat airport to hand over to the Korean Police according to regulations.
