Vinh Phuc Provincial Police continue to spread the godmother program

It is known that Le Mai Thanh's family is in very difficult circumstances (father passed away, mother has heart disease, no stable job, younger brother and sister are still young). The living expenses of the mother and children depend on the insurance benefits left by the father. Therefore, the family's life is very difficult. Sympathizing with Thanh's situation, with the desire to promptly encourage, share difficulties, and help her have more motivation to excel in her studies, the Women's Union of the two units, the Party and Political Affairs Department and the Inspection Committee have sponsored her, supporting her with 500,000 VND per month for 3 years. The above amount is taken from a part of the salary of the officials and members of the Women's Union of the two units.

In addition to sponsoring, the Women's Union of the two units assigned members to coordinate with local authorities to visit, encourage, guide and help Thanh in her studies as well as daily activities.

The Women's Union of the two units, the Department of Party and Political Affairs and the Inspection Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police, presented gifts and sponsored Le Mai Thanh.

It is known that since its implementation, the Women's Association of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police has sponsored and cared for 67 orphans in difficult circumstances, the Commune Police has sponsored 04 children with support levels from 300,000 - 1,000,000 VND/month. The minimum support period is 3 years, 5 years or until the children turn 18 years old. In addition to the fixed support level, the officers and members also support books, notebooks, supplies, study costs, clothes, health insurance cards, practical necessities for daily life, medical examination and treatment costs for the children.

In addition, the Provincial Police Women's Association always pays attention to the work of mobilizing, connecting support, caring for, and sponsoring orphans, not only the godchildren of Police mothers but also mobilizing support for godchildren in the whole province and outside the province with the amount of hundreds of millions of VND.
