Agribank Son La Branch is one of the pioneering banks in digital transformation, opening accounts and identifying customers by electronic method eKYC (electronic customer identification); providing electronic banking services, issuing technical standards (QR, chip cards); deploying modern banking services, such as: SMS services, E Mobile banking, internet banking, electronic banking (e banking); enhancing standardization, increasing connectivity in the banking industry and between banks and other industries and fields.

Mr. Vu Van Bang, Director of Agribank Son La Branch, informed: The bank is maintaining 12 specialized cars for mobile transactions in commune centers; 17 ATM/CDM machines '1 digital bank'. In early August, Agribank Son La Branch II was upgraded from a type II, grade 2 branch to a type I, group 1, grade 1 branch, under the direct management of Agribank Vietnam. Agribank Son La Branch II manages 4 type II branches, including: Van Ho, Yen Chau, Bac Yen, Phu Yen and 3 type 1 transaction offices, 31 communes, with total outstanding loans and capital reaching about 10,500 billion VND. Agribank Son La Branch will continue to innovate, improve services, diversify products, promote the application of digital technology, contributing to the implementation of key economic goals and sustainable development of the locality.

As for An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank Son La Branch, after more than 15 years of operation, from 1 transaction point, up to now, it has expanded to more transaction offices in the following areas: Mai Son, Moc Chau, Song Ma, Sop Cop. Proactively transforming digitally, establishing a digital banking ecosystem, increasing convenience for customers and maintaining business efficiency. Currently, ABBank Son La implements a mechanism to encourage customers to transact on electronic banking channels. Typically, the AB Ditizen digital banking application is integrated with a comprehensive automatic electronic customer identification feature - eKYC, allowing customers to register to open an account 100% online right on the application without having to go directly to the transaction counter, with just 5 simple registration steps on the phone.

Ms. Cam Thi Phuong Van, Director of ABBank Son La, said: ABBank Son La is serving more than 1,130 corporate customers and over 212,000 individual customers. Building a digital banking platform, the unit focuses on implementing the internal operation digitization category, researching and building a Smartform system for counter records, helping ABBank speed up transactions with customers. Automating issuance requests, supporting cards as soon as requests are recorded on the system and integrating electronic forms, helping to reduce transaction time from 5-7 minutes/non-financial transaction, such as registering for account opening services, card opening, registering for e-banking services of individual customers, businesses...

The network of credit institutions in the province is currently expanding. The province has 22 credit institutions; 51 transaction offices; 279 transaction points; 81 ATM/CDM automatic transaction machines; 168 POS card acceptance points. It is estimated that by July 31, 2025, credit institutions will have issued nearly 429,000 ATM cards. Credit institutions have promoted the promotion of product services, exempted and reduced many service packages to encourage people to use non-cash payment methods. Since the beginning of the year, the total non-cash payment in the area is estimated at more than 52 million transactions, with a total value of nearly 200,000 billion VND. The information technology system and payment system ensure absolute safety, with no unusual developments or incidents.
