Preparing Ethnic Minority Students for First Grade

The program lasts from 2 to 4 weeks, starting in August, to help children get used to the new learning environment and strengthen language skills.

The introduction week focuses on increasing the use of Vietnamese through daily communication situations, while practicing basic skills such as pen holding, writing posture and study habits. This is an important step to narrow the language gap, helping students become more confident when participating in the 2018 General Education Program.

Many schools have proactively coordinated with local authorities and parents to support boarding students and prepare thoughtful facilities. Teachers have also actively innovated teaching methods, creating a friendly and safe learning environment so that students feel interested and love going to school.

The program is expected to end at the end of August, helping students have a solid mindset and be ready for the new school year. This is an effort by Tuyen Quang province to improve the quality of comprehensive education, especially in this important transition period.
