On April 2, the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) in collaboration with the Navy launched the "HiGreen Truong Sa" program with the goal of planting 1 million trees.   in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam.

As a pioneer bank in digital and green transformation, MB aims to contribute VND160 billion, of which VND50 billion committed by MB will be matched through green finance actions and dissemination activities. The remainder will be mobilized from contributions from organizations and individuals through direct support.

Mr. Luu Trung Thai - Chairman of MB - said that HiGreen is not only a green journey, but also an affirmation of MB in promoting sustainable development, associated with the responsibility of protecting the environment. Previous HiGreen seasons have witnessed the participation of tens of thousands of people, accumulating millions of kilometers of running to convert into funds for tree planting and improving the environment in many localities. This not only contributes to raising community awareness but also affirms MB's digital transformation and green transformation capacity.

Especially, in the context of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the HiGreen Truong Sa program has a deeper meaning. It is not only an act of gratitude for the heroic past but also a promise to the future - a green, sustainable future for future generations. Each tree planted will be a "green milestone" affirming the love for the Fatherland. This is a great goal, but I believe that with the joint efforts of the community, we will achieve it.
