Emotion, pride and strong belief in the country's development were the common feelings of the people attending the State-level rehearsal of the military parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on the morning of April 27 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The General Rehearsal took place in a heroic and bustling atmosphere, a careful and meticulous preparation to ensure the upcoming parade and march was successful.

Present early at the stage area of ​​the General Rehearsal Ceremony, Ms. Ho Thi Thuy (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) expressed her emotion and pride in looking at the solemn and professional images, demonstrating the spirit of effort and responsibility of the marching and marching groups.

Ms. Thuy said: "The atmosphere of the historic April days in Ho Chi Minh City was very bustling, sacred, and emotional. Honored and happy to be present at the rehearsal, I feel that I need to live more responsibly, live better, and contribute a small part to the development of my homeland and country."

As a young generation born in peacetime, enjoying the fruits of independence, freedom, a prosperous and comfortable life, many young people present today are very aware of their gratitude towards the previous generation, those who did not spare their blood and youth to fight for national independence and freedom.

Student Nguyen Khang Ty, (University of Finance and Marketing) arrived at Bach Dang Wharf very early to wait to see the cannon firing, unable to hide his emotions, proudly sharing: “Today, I feel the atmosphere here is very heroic. When I hear the sound of cannons, my national pride rises even higher. As a young generation of a developing country, I feel grateful to the generation of our ancestors, the heroes who have completely devoted themselves to the country, urging us to try harder.”

50 years - a journey of continuous development of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country, along with great achievements in economy and society, Vietnam is increasingly affirming its position in the international arena. That is something that any citizen is proud of, especially the veterans, who have spent part of their youth in exchange for peace.

As a participant in the resistance war against the US to save the country since 1968, Ms. Chu Thi Dong, a veteran from Thach That district, Hanoi City, arrived early to watch the parade rehearsal.

The joy of still being healthy enough to go to the places I wanted to go, to visit old battlefields, old comrades, mixed with the feeling of excitement and pride that our country and people are increasingly developing, Ms. Chu Thi Dong emotionally said: “In the joy of seeing the country renew and develop, I remember more and more the sacrifices of my fallen comrades; many soldiers have not yet found their remains. Through this, I thank the authorities for organizing today's ceremony, creating an atmosphere for the country to be more joyful, more beautiful and more prosperous.”

Mrs. Dong expressed her hope that today's young generation will continue to follow the example of the heroes who came before, protecting the country of Vietnam to become stronger and stronger. That is the most worthy reward for the sacrifices of the heroes and the previous generations.

Happiness, emotion, and pride are the feelings of many young people participating in the parades and marches.

Practicing continuously for many days with high intensity, in the hot April sun, but no one was discouraged but always felt proud to be standing in the parade blocks, to contribute to the success of the General Rehearsal.

Miss H' Hen Nie (member of the Cultural and Arts marching force) felt very happy and moved: "Hen is very happy, looking at the development of life today with pride and gratitude. Hen cherishes this moment and hopes that we, especially the young people, will spread the spirit of gratitude for history, gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed, so that from there we can try to work and contribute to the country."

Student Pham Le Kieu Linh (Youth Bloc marching force) said she felt very honored to represent Vietnamese youth in today's march, and at the same time felt extremely grateful and proud because she was able to contribute a small part to the success of the great holiday - the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Attending the parade rehearsal were 50 groups, representing all forces and groups of Vietnam, demonstrating the contributions and companionship of social forces in the development of the country today.
