Admissions to public security schools this year will remain basically the same as in 2023, divided by region. Schools will retain the same 3 admission methods:
Method 1: Direct admission according to current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
Method 2: Direct admission combining international language certificates with high school academic results.
Method 3: Combine the 2024 high school graduation exam results with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's Assessment Test.
The Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment exam includes both multiple-choice and essay tests. The multiple-choice test, in addition to the subject content, also tests logical thinking, judgment skills, and situation handling, in conjunction with the specific training requirements of the police industry. The essay test tests knowledge of two subjects: Math and Literature.
The formula for calculating admission scores of the Ministry of Public Security is as follows: Admission score = Total score of three graduation exam subjects *2/5 + Assessment exam score *3/5 + Priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points for excellent students at the national level.
