At the inspected places, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission requested the district's agricultural sector and localities to strengthen direction and guidance for farmers on measures to overcome and care for crops after flooding, focusing on key communes for winter crop production; mobilize forces and means to urgently clear the flow and promptly drain water for flooded areas of winter-spring rice and vegetables; and immediately tie up flooded areas of winter-spring rice. In addition, the district's Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise was directed to close irrigation sluices, open drainage sluices, thoroughly drain surface water from fields, and operate pumping stations to drain water when heavy rains continue to occur.
