You guys come back and have fun with the country.

The tradition of “drinking water, remembering its source, and repaying kindness” has been highly promoted among all classes of our people. Every time Tet comes, Spring returns, thousands of martyrs’ cemeteries across the country are renovated and decorated. Thousands of charity houses are given to mothers and sisters who are relatives of martyrs and wounded soldiers.

We are extremely proud that in today's powerful people's armed forces, there are many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of heroes, martyrs, and wounded soldiers who are living and fighting following the noble example of their fathers and mothers, contributing to making the tradition of "The previous generation of fathers, the next generation of children/ Have become comrades in the same military march". It is the combined strength of our entire Party, people, and army that allows the Vietnamese Fatherland to continue to exist and continue on the long march to build a prosperous and happy country.

In the surge of emotion when visiting the martyrs' cemetery to burn incense at the end of the year to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, journalist and poet Nguyen Hong Vinh hastily wrote down a few lines of emotion from the bottom of his heart. Respectfully introducing the poem:

YOU GUYS COME BACK TO HAPPY WITH THE COUNTRY

I came to burn incense at the cemetery.

Windy end of year day

The banyan tree still has bare, dry branches.

Maybe wait for the martyrs to return, the flowers will bloom?!

The field behind the white water ice

The pass is waiting for the day to plant rice.

Then green rice will flood the village and commune.

And the country road is full of peach blossoms and flowers...

Tet is coming, the village is bustling with songs

Thank you to the soldiers who sacrificed for the Fatherland

To have today a tall house and wide doors

Rice ships cross the ocean

Your children and grandchildren are everywhere.

Join forces to open roads to reclaim land from the sea

In the formation of mature green uniforms

Worthy father, brother forget himself for the country!

In the underworld, may the soul rest in peace

The land, sky, sea and forest you left behind

Airports and factories are springing up.

Any evil force that touches it will be destroyed!

Unity multiplies strength from here

Your shining examples encourage and motivate

Desire to get rich, overcome challenges
