BTO-On October 4, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) approved the regulations of the 3rd Club Championship - 2023. This year's tournament will be held in Binh Thuan.
Accordingly, the tournament aims to continue promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". At the same time, it promotes the movement of practicing and competing in the Lion Dance to preserve and promote the unique cultural and sports traditions of the nation; meet the people's need to enjoy culture and sports, enhance understanding, exchange and solidarity between localities across the country.
The tournament will be held from November 3 to 9, with many special events such as: Lion on Mai Hoa Thung Nam; Lion on Mai Hoa Thung Nam Nu; Dragon Dance (9 pieces); Lion on the ground; Lion (Monk) jumping on the platform; Lion (Monk) climbing the pole individually (no picking the lucky branch); Lion (Monk) climbing the pole with a team (no picking the lucky branch). The Lion, Lion and Dragon competition rules were issued by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training in 2013. Each province/city/industry (referred to as sports delegations) can register 3 delegations, each athlete can only register to compete for 1 delegation. Athletes participating in the competition must be 16 years of age or older (born in 2007 or earlier).
The Organizing Committee recommends that delegations with athletes competing in the Mai hoa thung and Leo cot events must have a health certificate with a photo and a stamp from a competent health authority confirming that they are healthy enough to participate in sports competitions, no more than 30 days from the date of examination to the opening day of the tournament. In particular, delegations participating in the tournament must purchase accident insurance for athletes participating in the Mai hoa thung and Leo cot events.
