Information from the Investigation Police Agency of Thoai Son District Police ( An Giang ) on December 1 said that the unit has just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain Tran Ngoc Thanh (36 years old, residing in Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City) to investigate the act of illegal possession of drugs.

According to the initial investigation results, at around 3:15 a.m. on November 17, Thoai Son District Police received a report from residents that there was a suspected drug-related crime at H. Motel (Dong Son 1 Hamlet, Nui Sap Town, Thoai Son District). Immediately after, the police force came to check.
Amount of drugs in the case
Upon inspection, police discovered in Tran Ngoc Thanh's rented room a plastic bag containing crystal meth weighing more than 17.9 grams and a set of drug paraphernalia.
Initially, Thanh confessed that he bought the drugs from a stranger in Ho Chi Minh City and brought them to An Giang for use. The case is being further investigated by Thoai Son District Police (An Giang).
