After 4 months of launching, the Program received 300 nominations and applications on the website https://100e.visithcmc.vn/ . In April 2023, the Launching Ceremony of the Voting Program "HCMC - 100 interesting things" took place within the framework of the Opening Ceremony of the HCMC Tourism Festival with the voting subjects being businesses, individuals operating in the tourism sector, tourists and people of the City. After nearly 8 months of implementation, through synthesis, evaluation and selection, the Selection Council selected the results of 100 interesting things of the City in 2023 corresponding to 10 official categories.
Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History is one of ten interesting attractions in Ho Chi Minh City.
Based on the criteria of impression, characteristics, application of new techniques, clear display, ..., Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History was honored to be voted as one of the 100 interesting things of Ho Chi Minh City in 2023 and was voted in the category of "10 interesting attractions". Also on the list of this category are the Ao Dai Museum, War Remnants Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts, Independence Palace Special National Historical Site, Landmark 81 Skyview Observatory, Thieng Lieng Community Tourism Site, Saigon Special Forces Relic System, Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site, Notre Dame Cathedral - Ho Chi Minh City Post Office.
