Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA); Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; musician Do Hong Quan - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations... attended the program.
After the launch, the Organizing Committee of the award received nearly 3,500 entries, with many diverse genres such as literature, music, dance, theater, cinema, fine arts, photography, journalism... The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army selected and invited prestigious cultural managers, artists, and journalists inside and outside the Army to participate in 8 specialized councils to evaluate and select outstanding works to nominate for the award.
Many works show the authors' affection, enthusiasm, responsibility and talent with the theme of armed forces and revolutionary war; leaving a good impression on the solidarity between the army and the people, the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" overcoming difficulties, fighting, sacrificing in the past and the trust in the future in the new revolutionary period...
At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 208 outstanding works; including 30 A prizes, 43 B prizes, 59 C prizes and 76 Encouragement prizes. Journalist Alang Nguoc - reporter of Quang Nam Newspaper was honored to receive the C prize with a series of printed articles "Spring on DK1 platform".
On this occasion, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army launched an award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the topic of armed forces and revolutionary war in the period 2026 - 2030.
