Folk dances included in the Nutcracker - Dreamland

The play consists of 3 acts: The Festival at Clara's House, The Battle Between the Nutcracker and the Mice and The Victory Celebration. According to the production crew, the uniqueness of the Nutcracker version of Dreamlands is spread throughout all 3 acts, but the climax is the end of the play. This can be considered a synthesis of many beautiful folk dances: the coconut shell dance of the Khmer people (Southwest), gong dance (Central Highlands), Sinh Tien stick dance (Northwest).... These dances not only reflect the uniqueness of traditional dance art but also contribute to promoting and preserving the values of traditional dance in artistic life.

"We will not stop here. The ballet will soon return in a new, more perfect and brilliant version next summer," director Vu Hong Quan shared.
