Limit sugar and starch at breakfast
According to Japanese doctor Toshiro Iketani, author of the book Shaping visceral fat in 15 days - reducing sugar consumption is the most effective way to burn fat.
Obesity is largely caused by eating too much sugar. When sugar is consumed, the pancreas secretes insulin, which stimulates the liver, muscle, or fat cells to absorb blood sugar. Excess sugar stimulates insulin secretion, causing more and more fat to accumulate.
Limiting sugar and starch intake at breakfast will keep blood sugar levels stable, limit cravings, thereby helping you control the total amount of calories consumed throughout the day.
Dr. Toshiro Iketani recommends adding fiber and high-quality protein to breakfast to give the body enough energy to function.
Dr. Ikegu's breakfast is usually a glass of vegetable juice or unsweetened milk combined with unsweetened cereal.
If drinking vegetable juice, Dr. Ikegu often adds a small spoonful of extra virgin olive oil to add healthy fats, increase antioxidants, and absorb useful vitamins and minerals.
Drink black coffee in the afternoon
2-4pm is the time when the body consumes energy to burn excess fat. You easily feel hungry and crave snacks at this time. Dr. Ikegu said that drinking a cup of black coffee helps speed up the process of burning excess fat.
Coffee is low in calories and rich in nutrients such as potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants that can improve digestion, boost metabolism, increase energy, and aid in weight loss. Caffeine in coffee increases energy and curbs appetite.
If you don't want to drink coffee, you can use black tea, green tea... Note, do not add sugar or milk to tea or coffee to achieve weight loss results.
