On December 2, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province held a conference for the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province to meet voters after the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The conference was held in a combination of in-person and online formats at 8 locations, with nearly 2,400 delegates attending.
Attending the meeting with voters of Bac Ninh province were Ms. Dao Hong Lan, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Health; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province. Together with representatives of the leaders of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and National Assembly deputies of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province.
Reporting to voters on the results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, said that the 8th Session took place over 29.5 working days with a spirit of innovation, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles, overcoming bottlenecks, clearing resources, and focusing highly on serving socio-economic development, ensuring security, national defense and people's lives.
The session reviewed 51 contents and groups of contents, passed 18 laws, 21 resolutions, gave opinions on 10 other draft laws; reviewed personnel work under its authority...
At the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province, reported on the results of handling and responding to voters' petitions sent before the 8th Session, stating that there were a total of 52 voters' opinions expressed, many of which were explained and clarified by the National Assembly Delegates, leaders at the provincial, district and communal levels. The remaining contents were compiled and classified by the National Assembly Delegation of the province with a total of 38 petitions.
To date, the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province has received 100% of the written responses. Of these, 2 petitions have been resolved; 20 petitions address and clarify the content raised by voters; 8 petitions are in the process of being researched, considered, and resolved; 2 petitions have not been resolved.
At the conference, voters of Bac Ninh province raised many recommendations related to policies, regulations in the fields of health, education, transportation, national target programs; issues of site clearance, environmental pollution, land, and planning.
Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong answered voters' opinions on a number of issues under the province's authority such as: Construction investment, environment, policies and regimes... At the same time, he summarized the socio-economic development situation of the province in 2024 and the tasks of Bac Ninh province in 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province, highly appreciated the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters in the province.
At the same time, receiving opinions and reporting to voters on new policies of the Party and State and preparations to enter the era of national development; the work that the Government has been doing in recent times such as investment projects to develop expressways to connect the South - North axis; building mechanisms, removing obstacles of long-standing backlog projects...
Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan answered questions related to the health sector and said that she would absorb and carefully review the content that has been guided, and continue to guide on unclear content. Regarding issues related to the salary regime, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan said that the Ministry of Education and Training will coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs to implement.
At the conference, Mr. Tran Xuan Nhien - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that the conference to meet voters contributed to strengthening the close connection between National Assembly deputies and voters and people. A large number of voters across the province were fully informed of the important contents that the 15th National Assembly decided at the 8th Session.
