An Giang plans to inaugurate and start construction of 3 projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day

According to the report of the Ministry of Construction , by August 7, the Ministry of Construction had compiled 235 projects and works of ministries, branches, localities, corporations and general companies in 34 provinces and cities that are eligible to start construction and inaugurate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Of which, 149 projects and works were started; 86 projects and works were inaugurated with a total investment of 1,290,000 billion VND.

The Ministry of Construction proposes and selects 80 connection points at large-scale, meaningful projects and works, connecting with other projects and works of ministries, branches, provinces, cities... In which, the central connection point is located at the National Exhibition Fair Center, connecting directly and online with the remaining large connection points... Expected time is at 9:00 a.m., August 19.

In An Giang province, the provincial People's Committee plans to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the main coastal road project to the center of Ha Tien city, with a total investment of 1,400 billion VND. At the same time, inaugurate 2 projects and works, including: Regional connecting road project, section from Tan Chau town to Chau Doc city, connecting with Kien Giang and Dong Thap provinces (total investment of 2,131 billion VND); An Giang Provincial Theater project (total investment of 215 billion VND).

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc requested departments, branches and sectors to coordinate and promote the significance of 3 works and projects in An Giang province, 235 works and projects nationwide started and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the spirit of Official Dispatch No. 129/CD-TTg, dated August 7, 2025 of the Prime Minister.

This is an important political event, contributing to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day. There is not much time left from now until August 19, to ensure the best preparation for this important event, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc requested the locality to continue to ensure security, order, sanitation, and environmental landscape around the ceremony area and passing projects, creating a solemn and joyful atmosphere.
