After 6 months of commercial operation, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station elevated section Nhon - Cau Giay has transported nearly 3.4 million passengers.

According to statistics from Hanoi Railway Company Limited, after 6 months of commercial operation, nearly 3.4 million passengers have traveled on the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station elevated section, Nhon - Cau Giay. On average, more than 480,000 passengers travel on the route each month.

In particular, the proportion of passengers using monthly tickets accounts for more than 60% of the total number of passengers. This shows that urban railways are a means of public transport that people are interested in and use regularly, especially students and working people.

The 8.5km elevated section of the Nhon-Cau Giay metro line in Hanoi Railway Station will be put into commercial operation from August 8, 2024. In the first 15 days of free travel, the number of passengers traveling by train reached over 100,500.

A representative of Hanoi Railway Company Limited said that the underground section from Cau Giay to Hanoi Railway Station is under construction. This underground section is expected to be put into operation in 2026.
