People in Hoa Lam fishing village, Truong Vinh ward (Nghe An) proactively pulled their boats ashore and secured their houses. The government helped evacuate households, especially the elderly and children, to safety before storm No. 5 made landfall.

At around 4:30 p.m. on August 24, heavy rain began to fall in Truong Vinh Ward. In the Hoa Lam residential area, authorities and residents also began to move boats to higher ground to prepare for storm No. 5. We also realize the severity of the storm, so we quickly bring our boats and ships ashore.
