Vietnam national team competes in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2024 - Photo: MOET
The above list includes 37 of the best candidates out of a total of 187 candidates from provinces and cities across the country participating in the national team selection exam for the 2025 International and Regional Olympics with 5 subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics, taking place on March 25, 26 and 27.
According to the exam results, 6 candidates in mathematics were selected to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

Physics: 8 candidates were selected to attend the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO).
Asian Physics Olympiad Team 2025
Chemistry: 4 candidates were selected to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO).

Biology: 4 candidates were selected to participate in the International Biology Olympiad (IBIO).
International Biology Olympiad Team 2025
Informatics: 15 candidates were selected to participate in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO). The 2025 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad team: the exam results were announced during the exam process, and candidates knew the results from March 27.
Organize training and coaching for candidates of international and regional Olympic teams
The Ministry of Education and Training said it will continue to coordinate with relevant units to organize intensive review and training to help students best prepare for upcoming international and regional Olympic competitions.
The national team selection exam for international and regional Olympic competitions is held to discover and nurture young talents to represent Vietnam in international competitions.
