It is known that at about 3:20 p.m. the same day, during the inspection process, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police discovered a car with license plate 43E-018.XX showing suspicious signs circulating on Nguyen Tri Phuong Street.
However, when asked to stop the vehicle for inspection, the driver did not comply but accelerated and fled through many streets, endangering traffic participants. In response to that situation, the task force deployed synchronous measures to pursue and stop. At the intersection of Le Duan - Dien Bien Phu, the police force controlled the vehicle and brought the subjects to the headquarters for clarification.
Through a preliminary inspection, the authorities discovered drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was identified as VT (born in 1999, residing in Thanh Khe Ward, Da Nang City), carrying TCC (born in 2001, residing on Ha Huy Tap Street, Thanh Khe Ward).
The rapid test results showed that both subjects tested positive for drugs. The task force drew up an administrative violation record for the act of “driving a vehicle on the road while having drugs in the body”, temporarily detained the vehicle and handed over the person and the evidence to Thanh Khe Ward Police for further investigation and handling according to the law.
