On the afternoon of January 5, Dak Lak Employment Service Center (under the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) held a conference to review the work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024.
In 2023, with the timely and close direction of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of Employment (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), and close coordination with mass organizations and local authorities at all levels, job counseling, connecting labor supply and demand, resolving unemployment insurance policies, vocational training support, and labor export were effective and in accordance with the law.

During the year, the Center chaired and coordinated the organization of 106 job fairs, job fairs, job consultation conferences, domestic job introductions, and labor export with the participation of 245 units and enterprises with recruitment needs, enrolling 60,313 people. Thereby, providing job and career consultations and policies to 42,336 people, exceeding 92.44% of the plan; introducing jobs to 8,225 people, exceeding 8.22% of the plan; 2,650 people found jobs after introduction, exceeding 10.42% of the plan. The Center assessed records and advised on the issuance of 11,370 decisions on unemployment benefits, with a payment of 183 billion VND; Vocational counseling for 11,739 workers receiving unemployment benefits, result: 322 workers received vocational training support decisions, reaching 92% of the plan.
In addition to the achieved results, there are still limitations, obstacles and difficulties: The number of workers who have jobs through consulting and referrals is not high, the ratio of people participating in vocational training compared to those receiving unemployment insurance is still low; the number of workers participating in the labor export program is not much, especially ethnic minority workers.

In 2024, Dak Lak Employment Service Center strives to: Organize job and career counseling for more than 32,000 people; introduce jobs to about 8,000 people; strive for about 2,400 people to have jobs after introduction, of which 200 people will be exported. Collect information on recruitment needs of about 2,350 units and enterprises; provide labor market information to about 14,000 units, enterprises and employees; advise and support vocational training for unemployed workers, an estimated 330 people will be supported to learn a trade; receive and resolve policies for workers receiving unemployment insurance benefits for 11,000 people.

With the results achieved in 2023, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Dak Lak Employment Service Center for its excellent performance in completing its tasks; awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 departments (under the Center) for their excellent performance in completing their tasks; for their excellent performance and good completion of their tasks in 2023.
Regarding individuals, 56 individuals of the Center were recognized by the Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs with the title of "Advanced Workers"; 6 individuals were recognized as "Basic Emulation Fighters" in 2023.
