The list of 10 domestic destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary was surveyed and announced by Booking on March 20. The survey was based on the most searches for accommodation from April 4 to April 7 (the death anniversary of Hung Kings is on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, or April 7).

Accordingly, Da Nang is the most popular destination for Vietnamese tourists during this time with more searches than other provinces and cities. The remaining destinations include Da Lat, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Hanoi, Hue, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Mui Ne; most of the destinations are located in the Central and Southern regions of the country, where the weather is warm and sunny and close to the sea. Hanoi is the only representative of the North mentioned in the list.

Besides, Booking also announced a survey of the 10 destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists based on flight searches on the app, from April 4 to April 7. Accordingly, Da Nang still maintains its top position. Cam Ranh with its advantages of many flight routes, beautiful beaches, and mild weather is the second most searched by tourists. The capital Hanoi is in the top 3 and Ho Chi Minh City is in the 4th place. Phu Cat, a coastal destination of Binh Dinh, is in the top 5. The remaining destinations include Da Lat, Hue, Phu Quoc, Tuy Hoa, and Vinh.

This year's Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday is from April 5 to April 7, however, Vietnamese tourists are still interested in international destinations, with the Asia-Pacific region being the top priority. Most tourists want to choose a place where they can take a short trip but have diverse experiences and reasonable costs. With the above criteria, Bangkok (Thailand) continues to be the top choice of Vietnamese people; followed by Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (Korea), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Singapore, Osaka (Japan), Hong Kong (China), Ubud (Indonesia), Taiwan (China).
